I am an overthinking perfectionist. I have also wanted a classic leather cycle jacket for a long time now. Decided to pull the trigger and start research. Out of all the stores Google provided, The Alley piqued my interest due to it being a family owned business. Finally narrowed it down to 3 jackets, but was having a hard time deciding which and size. I started emailing with Joe and then just called on Monday the 10th because....well because I'm me. He was so so so patient and did an outstanding job of helping me choose. He even gave me a code for extra off the price! Nervously, I ordered later that day. Monday the 17th, it arrived. This was way ahead of schedule AND my birthday! The jacket fits perfectly and is definitely warm enough to survive the WI winter ridiculousness. I also feel that even when I remove the liner for warmer weather, it won't be too big and sloppy looking. I am beyond thrilled with my entire experience and would highly recommend this store to anyone and everyone. Got some awesome freebies with it too!
FYI, for all you anal people like me.......I'm 5' 3 ish with short arms. I do not know my weight (I banned the scale years ago), but wear a S to M in shirts. I measured myself with a heavy sweatshirt on and purchased the L. Definitely go a size up if you plan to wear heavier clothes underneath.
And give Joe a raise!:)
